Dr. Eric Walsh
Expert in Public Health

Dr. Eric Walsh is a native of Hartford Connecticut. He is a former faculty member at Loma Linda University in Family Medicine. His most important educational experience was at Oakwood University where he heard great preachers as he prepared for medical school. He went on to receive a medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, he completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Anniston, Alabama. This was followed by a Preventive Medicine/Public Health residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Walsh completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Public Health at the Loma Linda University School of Public Health. Currently, he is the medical director for Urgent Care and a Wound Care Clinic in Central California for a large medical group. As a highly sought after speaker, he has had the privilege to lecture and preach all over the world. Most importantly, Dr. Walsh seeks to continue to serve the Lord through his preaching and healing ministries. As a servant of the most high God, he finds great joy in healing others as well as praying with his patients.

Dr. Norman McNulty
Neurologist | Author

Norman McNulty, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist practicing in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee where he lives with his wife, Joelle, and their children. Prior to starting his current job in Tennessee, he worked for two years at the Adventist hospital in Trinidad. He trained at Loma Linda University and graduated in 2004. He enjoys studying the Adventist prophetic message and travels around the world speaking in his free time. He is the author of the recently published books Daniel: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour and Revelation: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour.

Dr. Pekka Määttänen

Pekka Määttänen is passionate about God's Word, the Book of Nature, and spreading the Gospel without neglecting the right hand. He serves as an Associate Professor of Biology at Burman University in Lacombe, Alberta and considers himself a career student. Pekka is married to Sarah, a registered nurse specializing in neonatal intensive care, and together they have been blessed with three children Isaac (9), Lilja (6), and Miina (4). Pekka attended Adventist grade school and high school, but afterwards University of Toronto and McGill University for undergraduate and graduate degrees respectively. Pekka and his family have lived in four different provinces in Canada and now reside in Ponoka County, Alberta.

Kevin Faryna

Kevin Faryna was raised on a cattle and grain farm in Alberta, Canada. After completing High School, he moved to the city to go to college. Kevin spent 17 years in the entertainment industry and while living a worldly lifestyle, he was introduced to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his personal Saviour. Leaving the entertainment industry behind, he headed back into the country and began following the example of His Saviour, working in the building trade. Because of lifelong health issues and coming to accept the health message he has overcome these ailments by the Grace of God, and has become engaged in the gospel medical missionary evangelistic work. He enjoys teaching and sharing of The Gospel and End Time Preparations necessary to help others to be ready for the Coming of Our Lord. Kevin is the director of Rocky Mountain Outpost Centres For Christ.

Jonathan Zita

Jonathan Zita heads the Lifestyle Canada ministry which is responsible for the Literature Evangelism work in Canada. He oversees the Canada Youth Challenge, GLOW Canada and the iHeal program. He is happily married with two kids who are the joy of his life.

You are responsible for your own housing and for obtaining transportation from the airport to the hotel if you are coming by plane.

1 Children age 11 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent, who will be responsible for them during the conference.

2 Youth age 12-17 MUST be accompanied by a chaperone, who is 18 years of age or older, and will be responsible for them during the conference.

3 Evening meals are not provided, including for the day of arrival (Thursday, August 18).

Housing

The Sheraton Cavalier Hotel, the venue where our conference is hosted, has graciously given us a special group price of $129/night for each room.

Transportation

You are responsible for your transportation to the conference. There is no shuttle available between the Calgary Airport and the Sheraton Cavalier hotel. Calgary Transit may be a valuable resource to help plan your route.

Exhibitor Booths

A single-table exhibitor booth can be purchased for $30, and a two-table exhibitor booth for $40. An exhibitor booth does not include registrations for persons running the booth. Exhibit manager(s) must first register as attendees for the full conference. GYC Canada reserves the right to refuse any exhibitor that does not uphold the Spirit of GYC as documented in the About Us section of our website.

Cancellation & Refund

Conference registration fees are non-refundable, with the exception of the government imposing restrictions inhibiting our in-person event.

You may transfer the ticket to another person as long as they need the same type of ticket you have. You will have to notify GYC Canada of this change by emailing us at igive@gyccanada.org.
